Medium Lithium-ion Battery Storage cabinets

The Lion Battery Charging Cabinet is an innovative solution designed to reduce the risk of battery fires. Lithium‑ion batteries require a cool, dry, secure, and non‑combustible environment for safe charging and storage.

The Lion‑Cab cabinets are constructed from double‑walled sheet steel with a 60 mm thermal air barrier, providing enhanced fire resistance and thermal insulation to help contain heat and delay fire spread.                                                                                                                   

The cabinet panels have been tested in accordance with EN 1363‑1, achieving a fire resistance rating of 120 minutes. The large cabinet has been tested to EN 14470‑1 and achieved the highest fire-resistance classification of 90 minutes. All three cabinets feature internal components capable of withstanding temperatures of up to 1000 °C.
