Collection: Fire Blankets
A fire blanket is a safety device designed to extinguish small fires or wrap around a person whose clothing is alight. It consists of a sheet of fire-retardant material (Woven Glass Fiber) that can smother the fire by cutting off oxygen.
Fire blankets are typically used on small Class A (ordinary combustibles) and Class B (flammable liquids) fires as well as Class F (cooking oils and fats)
Firebox manufactures four different sizes 1m x1m, 1.2m x 1.2m, 1.2m x 1.8m, and 1.8m x 1.8m.
We find that the 1.2m x 1.8m is most purchased for commercial purposes but 1m x 1m is more appropriate for domestic usage.
