F-500 Encapsulator Agent (F-500EA) is being used worldwide to combat the ferocity of Lithium-Ion battery fires. Whilst being an incredibly versatile agent, its notoriety has been formalised over the past few years in its ability to rapidly cool, control, contain and extinguish fires associated with Lithium-Ion batteries. 
When mixed with water, it increases waters innate ability to absorb heat by 4-6 times, thus reducing the amount of water traditionally needed to extinguish a fire. With this increase in cooling effectiveness coupled with its ability to penetrate into the walls and cells of a battery, makes it incredibly effective in encapsulating the electrolyte material and free-radicals within the battery itself, stopping thermal runaway its in tracks.
